In light of the government’s decision for lock down during the holidays, Morikai Studio closes its doors and will return to activity in accordance to the updated guidelines.
Also, the artist workshops planned for 2020 have all been canceled or postponed to 2021.
We are following the news closely and will update once the situation clears and the limitations are lifted.
We also wish to take this moment to want to thank you all for supporting us, for the friendships and the shared learning, it’s been a difficult year and we would not have gone through it without your support. We wish you a lot of health, smiles and freedom and of course – a smooth return to our daily routine.
Hope to see you soon.

We are advancing! – Get to know the new Studio’s Classes and Events Registration System – StudioBookings
Due to the limit space and participants (according to current covid-19 guidelines) we have decided to renew the entire registration process. This system supports quick registration through the browser or mobile, notification system and updates, waiting lists and automatic registration for vacancy, cancellation of classes and more!
We are launching a pilot week in which you are invited to create a user (We are aware that the system requires a name and a phone, you are free to input a nickname and a fictitious number – although the only ones exposed to this information are the studio staff, but it is very important that the email is correct and up to date)
After login, you are invited to reserve a place for classes that will be held this weekend – Friday and Saturday (note that registration for each event opens a week before it starts – to avoid a “take up” situation weeks in advance.
A fundamental change that you must take into account – every participant must sign up!
Especially during this time when we are all still aware of the dangers on the Corona virus, we feel the need to know exactly how many participants will be in class and have ways of contacting them.
We are aware of the fact that technological changes are a bit problematic, we are available to you for any technical question and will walk you through the first steps if you need to (we have the option to create your account for you if you find it difficult – but please first attempt this on your own)
Below is a link to the guide and all usage options –
Good luck – waiting for your feedback,
